Luma Fashion had outgrown their templated Shopify theme. Product discovery was clunky, the checkout experience didn’t match their brand, and seasonal sale traffic occasionally strained the site’s performance.
The Challenge
A fast-growing catalog, frequent seasonal promotions, and a brand identity that deserved better than a generic template — Luma needed a Shopify storefront that could scale with their growth without losing the polish that makes a fashion brand feel premium.
What We Built
We designed and built a fully custom Shopify theme from the ground up, with product listing and filtering built around how Luma’s customers actually shop — by collection, size and style. We streamlined the checkout flow to reduce friction, integrated with Luma’s existing inventory and fulfilment tools, and load-tested the storefront ahead of their next major sale to make sure it could handle a traffic spike without slowing down.
The Outcome
Luma now has a storefront that reflects their brand at every step, from homepage to checkout. The team can merchandise new collections quickly through Shopify’s admin, and the site is built to stay fast and stable during their highest-traffic sale periods.
