PathForge, a project-management startup, needed both a marketing website that could win early customers and a working product dashboard — on a founder’s timeline, without a large in-house engineering team.
The Challenge
Early-stage startups can’t afford to build their marketing site and product on unrelated foundations. PathForge needed a consistent design system that could support a fast-loading marketing site for investor and customer conversations, and a React dashboard that their small team could keep extending after launch.
What We Built
We built a shared component library in React so the marketing site and the product dashboard could share the same visual language and code patterns, cutting down duplicated work. The dashboard included core project, task and team management views, while the marketing site was structured around PathForge’s core value proposition for early customers and investors. We also automated parts of the account setup flow, so new users could get from sign-up to a working workspace with minimal manual steps.
The Outcome
PathForge launched with a marketing site and functioning product dashboard built on the same foundation, giving their small team a consistent codebase to build on. The automated onboarding flow reduced the setup steps new users had to complete manually before reaching value in the product.
